And so I return...

Friday, March 12, 2010

So everyone should pretty much know sub.lime.lemons is going south and it doesn't seem like it'll pick itself up anytime soon. I have decided to reboot this blog however, and perhaps I'll even try to redesign it... I think the reason sub.lime.lemons didn't work out so well in the end was because of how small a team we had. I was the site's only truly active member, and even that only lasted for a few weeks... But with THIS blog here, what.jonathan.likes... It's a lot more casual ya know? I can just update it every day with several things that I think are cool, or with certain aspects of my life.

So here is my official return to Blogger. It's bittersweet with the death of sister-site sub.lime.lemons, but it's better than nothing for sure.

Hydrogen Peroxide = Bad Breath Be Gone

Monday, December 7, 2009

According to Shine, all you need to do to get rid of that God-awful breath you may have after eating a hot dog or after just waking up in the morning is gargle a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Interesting isn't it? While I'm not going to jump up and down in excitement at this interesting new take on BBBG (Bad Breath Be Gone), it IS very interesting in my opinion, which is why I'm sharing it with you all (and by you all I mean my family, friends, and the few others who might actually read this blog).

"We know this sounds awful, but gargling 50 percent hydrogen peroxide with 50 percent H20 for 5-30 seconds is an immediate and lasting cure for microbial bad breath."

Drawing: Shy Guy Sketch

Just a quick drawing I made a while back that I wanted to share. It would've been even cooler if I realized I still had sketch paper back when I made it, but oh well, I think this little Shy Guy (Mario) sketch I made turned out well anyways.

Electronic Toilet Paper Dispensers

Thursday, December 3, 2009

Today I must announce a random idea that popped into my head just at the right moment: Electronic Toilet Paper Dispensers. I say 'at the right moment', because today I had a homework assignment in which I had develop some sort of 'new invention', and to my knowledge a toilet paper dispenser like this has never been made.

Introducing the -J-® Electronic Toilet Paper Dispenser, a revolutionary device that will provide a great help to janitors across the world! With its ground-breaking motion-sensing technology similar to what’s seen in air driers and more recently paper towel dispensers, the -J-® Electronic Toilet Paper Dispenser makes sure that only one – two pieces of paper are dispensed per wave of the hand! A handy button also makes its way into the equation just in case the motion sensor somehow breaks down. With the new -J-® Electronic Toilet Paper Dispenser, there will be no such thing as a ‘clogged toilet’ any longer!

The RandumbCrew

Tuesday, November 24, 2009

Let me tell you a bit about the amazing RandumbCrew: Two years back I got a video camera for my birthday. From there, I met up with my friend Jose (a.k.a pgabram707) and his little brother Aaron and we decided to make a dance video. Soon enough we had three dances videos (Aaron Break Dancing, Jose Tutin' and Wavin', and The Last Fresh Video Till - At Least - Summer respectively) up, and with clips from those three dances I made 'The Three Dances Remix' which, to this date, is our most popular video ever published on YouTube.

A little later on, my friend and fellow sub.lime.lemons staff member Trevor  joined the crew, and a bit after that my other fellow staff member and good friend Lister (a.k.a PsychoMindz, Zantok) joined too. We then moved on to form good relationships with YouTubers like Nuva007, who is the fourth and final member of sub.lime.lemons and is known in the real world as Tyler. From there we haven't completed much that related directly to YouTube, and we probably never will, but what the RandumbCrew did do for me was inspire me to make a name for myself on the internet. I've established myself as a member on a few forums, and I'm planning to take the blogging world by storm now. Whether this happens or not I don't know, but I do know I'm going to have a lot of fun along the way.
